Brush cleaning

It finally came time for me to clean my brushes. I think I used them once or twice and then cleaned them. As you can see they're quite ewwy and full of product! haha 
I used the MAC brush cleaner and it cleaned these babies like a charm. The brush bristles went back to being a pure white/beige colour like when I first bought them :) 


Let me ask the question, 
how often do you clean your makeup brushes?
and
how often should you clean you makeup brushes?


P.S It's not a trick question I'm really curious to know !

You summer time fine

Tis the last day of Winter here in Australia, bring on the warm weather !! :) 
I've been loving these products lately. My MSF is a got to product to even out my skin and give me a glow. Rubenesque is just a great eyelid colour, used as a base and an all over colour. The blush and lipglass I love as well for the colour and lastly the mascara I love it, it makes my lashes fan out without clumps since it coats each strand. I've noticed as well that waterproof formulas work better on my lashes, it holds the curl throughout the day AND no smudge marks :)

New Camera

Did I mention I got a new camera? I got a Nikon D90, gifted by my lovely Uncle while I was on holiday :) I love it, I'm still figuring out how to make full use of it but I'm getting there! As you can tell these photos are of myself through photobooth. As in I took a photo of the laptop screen, of myself taking a photo on photobooth? Lol

This camera is soo good it picked up the dust on my laptop screen Lol ! I'm also still working out the video capabilities of this. I know when I'm videoing it doesn't autofocus. Once I get used to this camera, I'll be uploading youtube videos again. 

I've got so many ideas in mind for tutorials, lookbooks and footage of IMATS thats coming up in September !

Anyways thought I would introduce my new found love to you guys !

Here are some Ray-Ban sunglasses that I've had my eye on for a while. I've especially wanted the Wayfarers (last photo) for a long time and now I've also come to love the Aviators !

I can't believe I've never done a post on SPELL before. I love what they sell, their bags and shoes/sandals and accessories are amazing ! I found them a while ago, as you can see on my side bar they're under my faves. What they sell has my style written all over it ! All the images shown above are taken from their website and are all the things I've always wanted to buy from there. What I love too is that it's all real leather, there bags and shoes. Hence why I'm still in the midst of saving my $$ to buy at least one of these things ! I recently came across this really nice clothing and accessories website called "Stitch Union" (they also have a blog here) on Song Of Style blog, the post I read was this one, she's holding a Stitch Union Giveaway ! I was looking through their stuff and I like the style of clothing and accessories they sell. The shipping price is quite cheap, I calculated how much it would be to Australia and it ended up being $2.59 ! The images above are a few of the items I really like. Stitch Union is based in New York City. 

Aje Spring/Summer 2011-2012

I am loving these designs by Aje. I especially loved the dresses with sparkle and sequins. The rose pink and the brown/gold/white dresses caught my eye. I'm a sucker for sparkle and glitter when it comes to formal dresses. Boy oh boy would I love to own one of the dresses with a short mini front and long trail at the back, that is so my style !

New in Handbags

I'm loving my two new handbags I got while I was on holiday in Toronto. 

The first handbag is from Coach, it's such an elegant handbag :) It reminded me of Angeline Jolie from the Tourist for some reason.

The second handbag, is from Jeffrey Campbell, I didn't know he made bags? Lol Thank goodness he does, because they're awesome ! I had my eye on this bag and another one, which was more like a backpack with tassels and fringes, but I loved this one more.
