After conducting a lot of research on the Clarisonic and the Personal Microdermabrasion Device I finally decided which one I was going to buy, the PMD. I found that the PMD is a microdermabrasion kit for at home use (on the face and body), whereas the Clarisonic is more of an exfoliator (also used on both the face and body). So I ummed and uuhed and thought about what I really wanted and came to the conclusion that, that was an at home microdermabrasion device/kit.
There is still a very high chance that in future I shall also purchase a Clarisonic machine. Not only can that be used on your face and more frequently too, that the PMD, but it can also be used on your body much more easily than the PMD because the Clarisonic head piece is much larger. I'd use it to exfoliate my body to have soft subtle skin and also use it to help fade scarring from small blemish marks on my back to small patches of scarring from eczema. By doing this and using bio oil in conjunction with moisturising daily I think in the long run my skin will look great. But thats if I decide to buy it later on.
So YAY it came in the mail this week, fast shipping too might I add (one week). I guess for the price of shipping charged, it better come quickly ! haha Even though it is now, in my possession, I haven't used it yet. I need to watch the instructional Dvd that came with it and then try it. I also need to make sure I try it at night, because I heard your face can go red for a while.
I bought my PMD from the PMD website, and used a promotional code to get a discount. I'm so glad I found the discount code because it saved me around $45-$50. I was watching one of Nikkiphillippi's youtube videos on skincare. I had already made up my mind about buying the PMD but was still watching a few youtube review videos and reading blog posts. Thankfully PMD gave Nikkiphiilippi a promotional code for her viewers to use to get a discount on the product. Not too sure if the code can still be used but click on her name (which I've linked) to go to the video.
I will be making a blog post about the PMD once I've tried it out a few times. I'll let you know how I liked it and a little bit more info on how it works and the general concepts behind microdermabrasion :)
I finally found a mint green nailpolish colour. I've been wanting a shade like this for ages but hadn't found the right one. They were either too pale, too light or just way too green. I bought this from Priceline. It's called "Sweetpea" by Australis. I've gotten a few compliments on my nailpolish, which is nice. I've even been asked if it glows in the dark ! Haha sadly it doesn't. It's quite a statement shade, but I love it and I think it looks nice against my skin tone :)
Watching this touched my heart so deeply and I know that it has nothing to do with fashion or beauty, but it has to do with peoples lives. It's likely that almost all of you have seen this already, because it's spreading like wildfire and the video just came out, which is great. It shows just how many people out there have compassion, and how many people care and are willing to make a stand for those who can't. I'm sharing this video in hope that you too will be moved and want to take action in order to bring justice to those who desperately deserve it.
I practiced putting these Demi Wispy Lashes on by Ardell the other day. I love how they look on. I think they're quite full but still 'kind of' natural :) Whats even better is that the lash band is clear so it makes them even more wearable on their own. Can't wait to wear these out and about.
Mind you, I have had the opportunity to, but since I take so long to put them on (I'm still new and still practicing the technique of applying false lashes) I end up not wearing them haha If they were the first thing to apply when it comes to doing my makeup then maybe I would of by now, but since they're the last thing I apply, they always get left out.
Here is my dearest Mum and I rockin' some bettyshoe booties, before a lunch out with the whole family. She loved my Naomi Brown Booties so much that she bought herself a pair :) I recently bought myself photoshop, I'm still trying to figure out the basics, it's so much harder than I thought it would be !
